You back from happy hour already? Having some typing issues?

If I read this correctly you're saying someone is going to be asking SRE order #1 to be present at each dealership for the unveiling- is that correct? I'd be more than happy to do that for my dealer.

Dudes and Dudettes!

I WANT to take delivery of mine on May 6th....it's my birthday!! How fitting!

EDIT:
Regarding TRM0002 comment above about SRE #1, I'd have to agree. That was part of my original deal way back when I submitted my pre-order as part of the MARKETING event that GM conducted.

I hate to say it, but unless GM gets a clarifying message out to ALL of the dealers and New Car Managers (excluding Scotty 'cause he knows what's going on) regarding the purpose of the May 6 reveal, I'm afraid there are going to be some irate #1 owners.

With very few exceptions, the dealers are usually pretty clueless. I would make the suggestion that if you hear something you don't think is accurate, you should do yourself the favor of taking a deep breath and checking in with Scott or one of the forum dealer reps. I cannot begin to count the number of times that I have heard the statement "My dealer told me" and was later proved to be talking out of their ***.

Just print out this thread and let them read it - if they issues, insist they call their district manager!

Totally the dealer's call.

GM would prefer the dealer keep their Camaro until May 6, but GM will not be holding invoices nor paying demo allowances on these LT models. If the dealer has a customer wanting to desperately purchase the car, the dealer will have to make a decision. Among the consideration is depending on the size of the store, when will they see their next Camaro.

I ask my dealer if they wanted me to come back with my 2SS/RS SIM...they said no. Actually, they said "If you get your car (it's already at 3400) before 6 May...we do not want you to come back for the national event".

I was like WTF? Are you serious? They comfirmed...do not return.

Only thing I can think is they are going to hold mine for the 6 May event...which I hope is wrong!!

WOW...........I talked to mine and he said if I got mine early, (3400 also) that if I wanted to, they'd like me to bring mine back. My dealer also sponsors one of our areas larger car shows and I saw their key promoter and organizer today at another show and he asked me if I would bring it out to that event to display. He said they would rope it off as they would only want people in the V6 dealer car. I said HELL YEAH I'll bring it.
