Note the bold. I was discussing a 2010 GT500 in our reference. I would say yes, a heavily modded Camaro, would take a take a stock GT500, 07~09

Or if your prefer, a F/I Camaro.

the 07-09 GT500 was SAE Certified, and I'm sure the '10 is or will be as well. I'll check when I get home.

Should we be comparing a Supercharged Camaro SS to a Supercharged GT500?

Of course 100hp+ is gonna make a difference!

I understood the Camaro SS (426hp) vs the Challenger SRT-8 (425hp) comparison...too bad the GT only has 300hp...

This site is turning into camaro/mustang5.com a lot lately. I have no problem with Mustang people or if they want to talk about some stuff some of the time, but these threads always turn into name calling and other crap. If I wanted to hear about the mustang this much, I would sign onto a mustang site.

Posting reviews and pics of Mustangs is fine IMO, but these comparisons always turn into "Oh yeah, I can Mod my car" and "Oh this is lame, you should compare a GT500 to a Corvette" "Should Not" "Should Too" stuff.

And I know, "If I don't like the topic, I shouldn't click it"

Good race, but its quite Obvious the GT could not put down the power it had. Lots of wheel spin there, and then basically out~muscled the Maro.

Yes, and Note the +40 hp that I added to compensate for the 2010's power increase. So whats your point?

I agree with all you said in principle.

In regards to the bolded portion.... I'd like to point out that a Mustang person/owner didn't start this thread, and in fact a mustang person/owner didn't even comment until the 9th post.

I think a lot of the Mustang talk on this forum is self-inflicted.
