I'm 6' and a few nights after buying my SS I had a nightmare that I was driving my car and started feeling claustrophobic. In my dream I was hating my Camaro, when I woke up I was caught up in the sheets.

Funny thing is, after that dream the inside of the Camaro actually doesn't seem that small. LOL

I'm 6' 3" and never felt claustrophobic. I actually like the low riding position and high doors.

Ahhhhhhhhhh the advantages of being an average height female. At 5'5" my sunroofless Camaro is nice & roomy. I think hubby feels a bit snug in his though but compared to driving his Crossfire, even he feels it is roomy. I tell him he does not get in that Crossfire, it looks more like he is putting it on like a tight pair of jeans LOL.

I am happy to see that I am not alone.
An aftermarket sunroof would not be an option for me since I want to leave the car 100% stock.
Trading it in for a convertible is not a bad idea, I just wish it would have a retractable hardtop. Not a big fan of the softtop since it will become a maintenance item down the road.
Not sure if I would ever buy a Corvette where there is even less leg room for me:(
Besides the Camaro is way more sexier car imho.
Thanks again for your replies.

I'm the same way. It took me a couple months of driving the car to get over the Claustrophobic feeling. I don't think a sun roof would help. Do like I did and just do short drives and you will over come it. PM me if you have further questions.

I think its just right. Fits me and my driving style perfectly. After drivingmy 5th gens anytime i get into my 4th gen i feel like im driving a fishbowl even though the windows have 5% tint on them.

And that's why they created the vert!

Actually, I have the opposite issue. When I jump into my wife's Altima coupe after driving the Camaro I feel unsafe or exposed. It's like sitting in a glass tower compared to a tank. Goes away after a few minutes.
