Pretty nice. Is there any supposed functionality to these? I mean...
Do they allow air in? Do they allow water (rain) in? Where does the air (and water, if any) go? What does the incoming air do - functionally, i.e. help cool brakes? Thanks.

Upper Rear Ports installed by ACS...They will soon put up the instalation video and pictures once everything is edited. Now these are to cool off the brakes but for now cause of the fuel line on the passenger side they are redoing the symatics...so for now they drain the water away and they will be able later on to add the hoses to cool off the brakes.

Installed correctly there are no issues with glued in parts...
It's all in the prep and using the right adhesive. The trays are epoxied in from inside and the tops use the same adhesive holding your windshield in. Haven't seen to many windshields leak or fall off lately.. |

No but I have seen plenty of hood vents along with other glued in parts failing even when prepped correctly. Heat plays a big part in these items. I attempt to steer clear of parts that glue in if at all possible. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Umm...never had an issue myself. Hood vents, inserts, quarter ports, bumper ports, fender inserts, etc. pretty much done them all on my cars over the years. Hope my lucky streak holds I guess!

Hope so. Several guys I know including myself have either abandon the hood vents or using rivets now to hold hood vents in securely. Ask TRC-SS his hood vent on passenger side just feel out couple weeks ago. He used my advice to rivet in place and now stronger than ever. No chance of hood crashing down since hood brace located in hood vent.
As for installation I had Lupe reinstall mine after falling out the first time. He did a great job using sealant on airplanes. Long story short my vents still became loose and fell out. I ended up having a custom hood made without glued in pieces to match my old hood design. Zero worries now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Yes they will be for cooling off the brakes but they are redesigning the cooling ducts system...
