Exactly. First of all, these aren't even "cars" -- just promotional images. They can render whatever mileage they want in the picture. Try not to overthink this too much, guys. Just because there are a couple Easter eggs thrown in for fun, don't assume everything has ultra significant hidden meaning. :P

So NPP on the new mustang is called Active Valve Performance Exhaust and MRC is Magnaride suspension?

The car looks weird in some colors but looks good in others. A lot stuff taken from the 6gen camaro. Like the digital speedometer cluster though.

Yep...cute is exactly what I'm looking for in a bad ass muscle car. If only it came with rainbow and Unicorn decals. Now that would be cute. hahahahaha

Active Valve Exhaust was I believe how Ford Racing referred to the M-58 exhaust that was adapted from the '99 FR500 in their catalog.

Magneride is what Delphi calls the suspension that Ford in licensing. Magnetic Ride Control is simply GM's trademarked name for this suspension type.

"Hey you guys!"

I had the same thought. Looks like it took the short bus.

Also looks like it's going to burrow underground at any moment.

Anyone else wondering if the front end was redesigned for pedestrian safety? They should be a hit at cars and coffee - especially with a power bump!

Wouldn't the mustangs transmission be the same as the ZL1 with different software?

I still think it's to increase fuel economy of the manual cars, but I'm not doubting they increased power. Reason I say this is because even with the added weight of the 2015 no ratios were changed between the 2011-2014 and 2015-2017.

The automatic transmission has had two overdrives since 2011 as well.

I don't doubt fuel economy is part of the equation here, but not having to shift into 5th gear at the end of the 1/4 is a big deal too.
