I don't know what I have going on on the 8th yet. I might be in New Orleans, I haven't decided yet. I just got back from 3 weeks in Ohio so I'm slightly against going to New Orleans and then turning around and going to Bowling Green but we'll see. Crestview is so much closer.

So Christopher and I are departing wed 12 July to go up instead of Thursday, We are staying in Cave City which is about 40 min from BG, we still have our reservations at the host hotel on 13 July, they could not get me the same rate for 12 July so I saved $$ buy staying at CC>

I have some news to share while I'm here at least. I have purchased my first house! It's actually closer to my office on the SE side of Tallahassee. 3/2, detached, built in 2012 and it has a garage (one car but still)! I'm surrounded by boxes and Home Depot pretty much knows me now.

Regarding the car, it has been at Dale Jr. Chevy for the last week and I'm driving an Equinox now (handy, considering the Home Depot runs). It's in for the transmission. Under steady cruising with light acceleration it would often feel like you were driving over rumble strips and shifts would be sloppy on occasion. Found a thread on the topic and took it in. First attempt was to flush the trans several times but I was told yesterday that didn't fix it completely and they'll try again but might have to order a torque converter. So yeah, that's fun.

Congrats on the house, I'm buying myself a house as well. I close on the 31st.
