Uhh yes....the gas pricing over here in EU is obviously a lot more as you pay in the USA. So, actually we have to pay for 1 liter of Super (95 OCT) about 1,27€, for Diesel about 1,10€ and for SuperPlus (98 OCT) about 1,35€. If you want to go for Ultimate with 100 OCT and higher up to 102 OCT you have to pay about 1,50€ to get 1 liter. (1 liter = 0,264 gallon)



So, I appreciate the cylinder deactivation of the Chevy LT1 machine very much because having this modern technology allows driving cars like the Camaro with a fuel consumption of about 10-11 liter / 100 kilometers which is very good for that power and the size of the machine itself.

Thanks for the info. I knew it was higher fuel costs over there. Didn't realize it was that much higher.

Using your 95 octane pricing....Approx 4.81 € per gallon. Based on current exchange rate, approx $5.51 US/gallon. I paid $2.34 US per gallon for 93 octane a few days ago.

Nice options for octane rating though. At least in my geographical region, 93 octane is highest at pump without visiting a race track.

Just popping in to say hi but to answer this question: because the V6 one is made by RotoFab and the V8 one is made by Cold Air Inductions. GM didn't design or produce either of them and the designs are just the way those mfgs do their intakes. I had the CAI one on my 2012 V6 and I intend to get this one for the Fifty as well, just probably not very soon. I've spent way too much getting into my new house.

Coming back to one question from Martinjlm: MODS - that is still a good question!
To be honest....I checked some mods that I would do to my Fifty but I don't want to change its "limited edition status" in general. So, what I want to have is the Splitter, the DLR / fog LED's and I was searching for some suspension changes and the CAI by GM or K&N.
The sidemarkers I checked also but my model and I assume all EU models don't have the cables pre-installed. So, there would be a lot of work to do and I guess also changing the bord computer settings to be able to use sidemarkers on this EU models. And at least, it is not allowed in GER, too.... and so it will be with almost every part you get for the Camaro on the aftermarket. There will ony be a few parts that could be changed / installed with eG-certificate... mostly the GM parts.

But let's see how the journey goes on

Agreed. I drive between Buffalo and Detroit a lot. About 90% of the trip is through Canada (Windsor to Queenston or Niagara Falls). Haven't bought gas in Canada in at least 10 years.

I haven't made the trip in the Camaro yet, but expect to do so in a couple weeks. With AFM, my full tank range is over 300 miles, so I expect I can make it border to border.
