Thanks man, but the rod bent after this issue...so im trying to figure out what caused the issue in the first place. Hopefully its found!

Ouch. It seems that many on this forum have damaged or blown motors due to bad luck or just pushing a bit too much boost. There is an interesting article on superchevy where experts say more than 8lb of boost and you are pushing your luck on stock LS3. Anyway now that you are going forged with Jannetty I'm sure you will have a beast. He would not steer you wrong!

2 bent Connecting rods in bottom end.

Motor is in good shape and they are using that to fully build a monster!

Yikes, that's real scary. Good luck with the fix.

Yea, gotta pay to play and i knew i was getting up there on power but thankfully i just bent 2 rods instead of sending them through the block. Could of been worst i guess!!

Just a case of the Rubber Rods the rest of the engine is literally Brand New bearings pistons crank valves etc.

There are some signs of Valve float on the cam lobes stock cam and valve train

TRC, sorry to hear about your engine. As you know and commented on my SLP SC build, I am at 510rwhpMustang/530rwhp Dynojet. L99. I was contemplating going the extra step with the fuel system and smaller pulley, but, I think I may stay right where I am. How much difference in usable performance on street tires did your 607rwhp provide as compared to the build you were at 530? I'm still waiting on my SLP coil covers like yours. They retooled and are supposed to be ready next week. Great looking SS. Good luck with your build. Your in good hands with a very reputable tuner on the east coast.

Hey bud thanks. Don't let My incident steer you away from more power....There are thousands of guys running the same setup and or much more power and are perfectly fine. Only thing that you could do to help prevent my issue is upgrade the valve train.(springs, pushrods ect) Not crazy money for some peace of mind.

As far as street tires it all depends on what you have. I have the 315 Vreds which claim to hold a good amount of power, and they do. They hold pretty well at my power level, but once the rebuild is done I'm sure they will be useless

The Slp Covers are great, they make everything under the hood look perfect and clean!!

Great to hear. Keep us posted on the new numbers. I finally got my SLP coil covers on like yours and SoChrisB. Very happy with the nice clean look. Anyway, good luck with installation and getting that beautiful SS back on the road.
