Turned off the TC and Stabil-track---WOW!

Until I read a thread the other day about turning both the Traction Control and Stabil-track I didn't know there was a difference. When I clicked the button twice it said it was in Competitive Mode so I thought that was as good as it gets. Then I read where you have to hold down the button on the second click for about 10 sec. Then you'll see the display that both are turned off.

I took it out to a local 6 lane highway that doesn't have much traffic because it's only been open for about a month. I waited until there were no cars in either direction....pulled out....got it barely rolling.....sucked in the clutch.....and HAMMERED it!

The car went sideways to the right....I steered to pull it back straight and it still slid out to the left. Looked in the rear view and there was a nice pair of "S" marks in the street. Holly Cow.....and I only have about 925 miles so far.

Told the wife it was time to start putting money away for some rear tires. I don't know if these are going to make it past about 10k miles.

For some reason people keep asking me if the car has any power when I take them for a ride...like the Camaro has any heritage of being a Muscle Car or something. Had to get new tires at 6K miles...there are 100 and 200 ft. 1st-3rd gear burnout squiggle’s all over where I live.

I joke around with my Daughters that the T/C button is the “Turbo Button” and only to be used when we need to put up a smoke screen for a get-a-way...

You guys must spin the tires for the fun of it all the time cause I drive VERY spiritedly all the time and have about 9000 miles and still have plenty of tread left, and I am TRYING to get rid of these tires because I have a set of NITTOs waiting to go on...

I don't drive my car any other way. Both functions off please. Wish it could be programmed to turn them both off at startup.

Never turned either off yet....Heard too many stories of people losing the end of the car. I'm a spirited driver and am not quite ready for new tires either.

Threads like me make me sometimes reconsider. lol.

So, the display will actually show BOTH systems off??
