LOVED it. Straight up numbers, no extra BS.
...Still prefer the ZL1

Hahah a 1:1x:xx? Randy Pobst only got a 1:20.43 out of a Z06 with the Z07 package on it. A GTR did it in 1:20.25 with Randy behind the wheel of that too. Get real.

Ford...I would Like to Congratulate you
Looks like you whupped the ZL1 fair and square. Sure the ZL1 beat you in the slalom..but how many really care about going around curves that fast??
Real world driving is reasonably good cornering and flat on straight line ass kicking getup and go...so Ford my hats off to you for a performer at a good value cost. Oppenheimer I suggest you sit back down and think about how to come out swinging next year...cuz I thing you also got whupped. Just calling it like see it even if I am a Camaro fan. |

Thee ZL1 was Oppenheimer's baby. The ZL1 lost to the GT500. Oppenheimer needs to do some explaining.

so....let's see, he designed the car to beat the 2012 GT500 in all respects and AFTER he does that, the new GT500 announces a STEP UP moto answer. True it didn't step up all areas, but it says it can run us down all day stock= stock at the 1/4th. I wish'd Al had set the bar to beat as the 2013 GT500. It is right there to grasp with small pulley added, CA1, and maybe a tune. WE shall see.! |
