Skip shift?

I have never had a indication to skip shift?? What are the conditions that give you that. I have not been forced to skip at all.

If you drive your ZL1 properly, odds are you'll never encounter it.

It only rears it's head if you are accellerating from a stop at a very gradual pace and go to shift at a fairly low rpm (I don't remember the details).

Same here, never forced to do that as of yet. Although my 2010 SS made me do that all the time. My normal driving style between the SS and ZL1 did not change.

Less than 13% throttle
Between 16 mph and 19 mph
Greater than 171deg F coolant temp
Between 76 kPa and 78 kPa on the MAP sensor

So almost never. GM left it in the ZL1 because of the Fed. But they programmed it where you'll rarely encounter it.

It does it to me only on this one on ramp that has a slow tight turn. Its obnoxious enough that I'm going to get the eliminator.

Suprised they left it in since you pay the gas guzzler tax.

As compared to my 2010 SS, I rarely get it on the ZL1.

I questioned why have it on the ZL1 (considering we paid the Gas Guzzler Tax), but I was told the GG Tax could be higher if it wasn't there.
