What exactly are you trying to accomplish? In Florida, DSV Customs makes some great carbon fiber and leather interior products.

Hydro carbo is essentially a surface coating over the existing part. They look great but don't offer the light weight properties of a carbon fiber part.

So if you just want the appearance this is a great way to go.

Just keep in mind it isn't "real" CF.

Also consider there is "show carbon" which has the exposed weave and is very beautiful, and non show which is closer to fiberglass by process but has all of the mass savings. Consider the ZR1.... It has show carbon on the roof with a UV protectant in the clear coat (40 grand a gallon I think) and less expensive CF in the floor panels and wheelhouse outer panel and front fender. If you are going to paint it or hide it then there is no need for the extra cost for the beautiful weave.
