Cam Motion Low Lash Solid Roller and FRH ported heads finished

First off, I want to give a HUGE thank you to Kip at Cam Motion. Kip spent hours on the phone speaking with me and getting me everything I needed. I also want to thank Chris Frank at Frankenstein Racing heads. Chris obviously has an awesome cnc program over there. Lastly, I want to thank John at Broadview auto in warrenton. He went out of his way to get this car on the dyno last minute.





Don't let the video fool you of the idle. The car was not struggling at all with this cam. I wasn't giving it gas, was working the clutch, and using the brake to creep down the driveway. The car drives exceptionally well, especially compared to the hydraulic cam I had in here.

The car on this same dyno made 475whp 436wtq on the old cam and stock heads.

Dammit, you now make me wish I didn't cheap out, and had went with low lash solid roller instead of hydraulic, back when I ordered my Cam Motion cam from Kip !

Needless to say, your car sounds awesome

Lol. You won't regret your hydraulic. I'm very happy with the new setup so far. I'm going to go over all of the valves in the morning and try to do some data logging.

Is it common knowledge to you all that solid roller has an effect on sound?

Cause I did_not know this, no one brought this to the table before

I wouldn't say it's common knowledge. Especially with how long chevy has been running hydraulic roller cams. I'd say people in the race community and the old school guys know.

Cam Motion, ordered direct from them, 216/224 116+3; valve lift intake : .601in. Exhaust: .582 off top of my head.

It's a stealth cam really, but a solid roller would have put the proper icing on the cake as I would have liked it.

Sledge 3.0 shall be introduced to viewing public week of April 20th

We are offering our custom ll solid cams in ls3 3 bolt design and vvt as well. I run a vvt ll solid in my car that kip and myself worked out! Congrats man sounds good!
