Cel P0030

It think I'm in the right section for posting this info request.

Cel P0030 just pop up!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Code: P0030
HO2S Heater Control Circuit (Bank 1 Sensor 1)

Causes:
Potential causes of a P0030 trouble code may include:
Failed or damaged heater circuit element inside the HO2S
Open on the O2 sensor heater's ground circuit
Open or short on O2 sensor heater's B+ battery feed (on some vehicles this may be the control circuit)
Possible ECM failure (less likely)

I've notice my voltage when up above 15.1V...It used to run at 14.3V

I've clear the code and it has not come back. I've been driving for more the 80 miles since...weird!?

Not sure what your set up is but if you turned the key on with an O2 disconnected it will set that code.

Ted.

Hi Ted,
Thanks for chiming in on this issue.

It Pop back at lunch, and I think just figure how do make it pop.

After a hard acceleration to 5500rpm in 3rd, I let it run on compression and it pops! I think because I didn't let the car warm-up long enough. It's cold here. Air temperature is between 32 and 40f.

No tune, No motor upgrades, no bolts on other than my Solo HF cats since April this year.
I've never had any codes before.

The colder weather combined with the HF cats is the issue.

You need a tune to correct this.

Ted.
