"weaving in and out of traffic at 150mph" and drunk to boot Came close to a Darwin Award. He should never be allowed behind the wheel of a car again. EPIC Fail

Man, what a shame. I live right by there and I heard a bunch of sirens last night. Guess that's what it was.

Weaving in & out at 150mph rearending someone and causing a spinout, sounds like a Carl Edwards fan.

Smile Slow Down Please

HUNTINGTON BEACH – A Corvette driver who rear-ended an Infinti G35 Tuesday night, sending both cars into the Bolsa Chica wetlands, had to be rescued from his car, and was later arrested, police said.
Melvin Brown, 52, of Garden Grove, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. The Infiniti driver - Alfredo Garcia, 29, of Huntington Beach - was taken to the hospital with complaints of pain.
Around 10:15 p.m., Brown was driving his brand-new Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 west on Pacific Coast Highway, weaving in and out of traffic at around 150 mph, police said.
About a mile south of Warner Avenue, the Corvette rear-ended the Infiniti, causing both cars to spin out of control and into the Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve, police said. Both cars went into the water on the inland side of PCH. The Infinti was partially submerged and the Corvette slipped all the way under water.

Too bad he didn't get it over with! hope he looses his licence for 10 years and has an imposed lifetime 55mph speed governor installed on all his vehicles!

He should lose his license for a long time. If they ever give it back to him he should be required to drive an old hooptie that struggles to get to 55.

People like this do not deserve nice cars like that. Take his license away from him, make him ride a bicycle, it's about his speed.

I believe you are right. Looks like a Coupe. The rims are wrong for the ZR1, Z06, or even the Grand Sport.

I'm just playing devils advocate here but if they were wrong about the type of cars in the accident how quickly should we make judgement. How do we know he was going 150(it says about 150, so which civilian driver radared him or is it possible a passerby exagerated for the nice reporter)? It also says there was a blood suger monitor inside the car, have you ever seen the syptoms of a diabetic behind the wheel when there blood suger is off? They appear drunk. Besides he was arrested under suspicion of driving drunk. Again I'm just sayin by now we should now that the media writes thing you will want to read, not always the truth.
