My Exhaust keeps getting an Erection...
Ive come to witts end with this, But i have Stainless Works Retro catback with the Quad Ground Effects Tips and every time the exhaust heats up my sytem moves about 1.5-2 inchs back making my tips stick out that much, When the exhaust is cold the tips sit flush and nice, but like i said after driving the tips stick out almost 2 inches and looks horrible, i even tack welded the whole system together so they wouldnt move but still does it. Any one else running into this issue? Any way to stop this?
The exhaust is Stainless Steel 304 Mandrel Bent. thanks

I have never seen that much expansion on an exhaust system.
Trying to respond to this post took some extra thought. My firt sentence was about not seeing that much growth in a pipe.

I have the Stainless Works 3-inch through THR and it does the same thing. System moves a lot. My exhaust guy told me that it is common for a stainless steel system to do this and there is NO preventing it.

My tips stick out a bit but it doesn't look bad to me. Some of us just like to let it hang out

If it lasts for more than 4 hours after shutting the car off....go to your mechanic ASAP.
