Placement Idea for Vitesse Throttle Controller

Thought I'd share the placement of my throttle controller. I placed it under the speedo behind the steering wheel. You can't see it from any location in car. It is real easy to reach if you need to change throttle at any time. Only downside I see is that you can't see what number your on..BUT it is not a problem for me because if you turn the knob all the way down you know your on 0 sop you just have to count each click as you higher the throttle knob. Not very hard to do. I also know if I regularly run at 6 but want to crank it to 9 I just click 3 times..So to sum it up..location is very easy to get to, can't see it from any side, and not seeing the numbers are really no concern IMO.

Share your ideas or location to help those others that want to install the Vitesse. By the way..I love it

I routed mine around and set it over 1 of the 4 gauges in the gauge cluster in front of the shift knob. Sits there perfectly and doesn't move. I never look at those gauges anyway.

I will see if I can snap one.

You only see about 6-8 inches as it comes out of the molding, but I also didn't take to the time to really tuck the wire.

Not sure if you mean 6.0 mpg with Vitesse throttled at 9 but I average 16-18 with it at 9. Once you get used to it you learn how to drive smoothly with it at 9. I've had it at 5 also which is still very good but I like the option to punch it if needed
Now I see what you mean..lol...that 6.0 mpg was when I reset the MPG and did a quick 0-60 test run. But my normal daily drive with it a 9 gives me 16-18 mpg.
