Trifecta tuner?

I have a 2012 LS camaro with a k&n intake and magnaflow exhaust.. Looking for a good tooner and really only V6 tuner available is the trifecta tuner... Anyone ever use this? If so what kind of gains did you get?

If you have a LFX you have the new delphi ecm which is not only supported by trifecta but EFI live and HP tuners. Phil@tampa is going to be putting the first 2012 V6 on the dyno and tune using HPT as soon as they work out the last kinks. Than there's IPF which advertise 19hp/22tq! So many options for you guys in the tuning dept it's not even funny LOL

if you have a 2012 then your V6 is a LFX and not supported by trifecta that only works if you have a 2010 or 2011 not sure which was the last year of the pre LFX V6 engines.

Actually Trifecta does support and will tune the LFX. Trifecta has been very good to us LLT owners and I wouldn't expect anything less from them with the LFX.

That said, because there are more tuning options coming for the LFX engine, you may want to sit back for a little while and see what happens and what options you will have in the future, b/c you will have different options.

Just don't expect a quick delivery for your tune after purchase. They are busy and takes some time to get it all done, but good things are never done quick. Figure about 5 - 8 weeks is what I am hearing, I'm at 3 weeks right now. So I can't give any feedback on performance after the tune yet.

From bill over at HP Tuners :
now that GM changed pcm's in them in 2012 to e39 I can't say with any certainty that we'll go backwards rather than continue to move forward as the 2013's will likely be released shortly after we release e39 support.

it doesnt look good for the 2010-2011 V6ers

Trifecta does support the 2012, I've sold several 2012 trifecta tunes. The only thing we don't support on them is user-selectable ghost cam, but we can still give you ghost cam in your tune.

dont mean to jack this thread, but this question is for bnr,,or trifecta, whichever is appropriate, when i am using the software for my tune, at a certain point of the installation i hear a "clicking sound" in what appears the right rear side of car. Is there a switch, fuel pump? or something that should be making a similar sound? thanks..i took the car to dlr to check for thrust washer, but it was not the issue and said this is normal drive train sound...but when i re-install the tune the procedure seems to make this clicking sound..thanks ryd
