Bluish/white smoke on cold start
Perhaps I'm over-thinking this, this car is like a kid to me.. Anyway, went this morning to get a cake and a merangue pie for a party tomorrow, fired up the SS, and I turned around to see a nice cloud of blue/white smoke behind me... Smelled a little bit like burnt oil..
Should I be worried? The car only sat since Thursday. |

Is it the L99 Automatic? I had the same issue when i first got my car and Dealer ended up replacing the lifters , it was a known issue. It happened a couple of times for me usually on start up. blue means oil getting into the exhaust.

i would definitely take it in. the old 305 are known for this but i would want it fix on a brand new car.

Did you pour a can of Seafoam in it recently? Lol
But seriously, take it to the dealer. Something obviously isn't right. |
