Bluish/white smoke on cold start

Perhaps I'm over-thinking this, this car is like a kid to me.. Anyway, went this morning to get a cake and a merangue pie for a party tomorrow, fired up the SS, and I turned around to see a nice cloud of blue/white smoke behind me... Smelled a little bit like burnt oil..

Should I be worried? The car only sat since Thursday.

Is it the L99 Automatic? I had the same issue when i first got my car and Dealer ended up replacing the lifters , it was a known issue. It happened a couple of times for me usually on start up. blue means oil getting into the exhaust.

i would definitely take it in. the old 305 are known for this but i would want it fix on a brand new car.

Did you pour a can of Seafoam in it recently? Lol

But seriously, take it to the dealer. Something obviously isn't right.

It's the LS3, It's going to be quite depressing to not have the car for a few days..

Maybe I can convince them to leave me a convertible for a loaner..
