Aluminum /Carbon Driveshafts?

Gforce $8-900 and DSS $950-$1400 (carbon) each have their own.. Has anyone installed any of these? Community Reviews really help me jump the fence. ('10 S/c'd LLT)

You pushing that much HP that you need to upgrade the drive shaft? To each his own I guess . Post pictures when you do it . At least it will look pretty.

Aluminum /Carbon Driveshafts?

I have the driveshaft shop carbon fiber one piece driveshaft. Have no complaints. I would also get a driveshaft shaft loop to install at the same time. I went with the Metco driveshaft safety loop.
Edit: I didn’t notice it was for a V6. Not sure about that one, but driveshaft shop and G force are the both good brands

Dj how did the difference feel? Snappy launch/ more torque/ mpg increase? or Nada?

Everyone says something different, but I'd rather take it from those that actually have it on their Camaro's like you guys-

Good to know these 2 are the routes go.

It is really hard to compare between the OEM 2pc and the DSS 1pc since i have been changing so much each time the car goes in. When the dss driveshaft was installed I also built the short block, installed the AEM meth setup, and retuned the car. So it is impossible to tell at this point. I would have to put my OEM piece back on to be able to give you any feedback. So far no complaints though!

If you do replace your driveshaft an aluminum driveshaft is well worth it for some weight reduction. I wouldn’t get a carbon driveshaft as I have seen them not last too long and break at the track.

I did this with dss axles and z/28 hubs. Also added a driveshaft safety loop at the same time.

I was going for a road racing setup. So far, working for what I planned...

Unless you intend to do some racing or serious power, the stock setup is pretty stout. Hard launches, maybe axles.

I’d do bushings and toe rods first. I did all those items before doing the shaft/axles/hubs...

I did the DSS carbon fiber 1000hp in my 10' SS and immediately noticed a pedal difference between the two piece drive shaft... no delay. I pulled it out and have confirmed it will work in my new Z/28. One of my first mods.
