Yeah elvis I tried it yesterday I honestly can't see myself hitting mine with enough force to turn it off, but I believe if a spider or wasp was on my leg I probably would hit it...

Camaro,s of East Texas Car Club met yesterday in Hastings Parking Lot, across from Wagoner Cadillac on Broadway in Tyler, Texas at 4pm.

We had 13 Camaro,s Show up of which 3 are new members that signed up in Club Book. We welcome Casey, A.J. and James.

This group elected the Club officers beginning 6/15/2014 for President, Vice President and Club Secretary, results are;

President: Callen McGovern (Cal,s Bee)
Vice President: Jeff Arnold (Ohoh5oh)
Secretary: Jimmy Terrell (Elvis)

Club,s first President, Nick, relocating to another Town per Job opportunity, we will miss Nick and he will always be a member of our Car Club......thanks Nick for all your contribution to the Club and it,s members.

This Car Club is slowly progressing and getting more members but we must work together to make it much better....we still have a lot to learn and long way to go to get to where some of the other car clubs have taken their clubs.

High priority outstanding issues remain to be following:

1. Have new Club business cards made up for distribution, action by President and Vice President
2. Draft new Club Website with the Club main information on it for meetings and contacts. Action by Scotty
3. Gain approval by majority members and order Club T shirts, then same for hats and Jackets, action by Vice President
4. Get a volunteer to be the Cruise Director for Club Events and then get to work Directing and communicating planned Cruises and events..put same on new Website. Action by................ ? Who wants this Challenge ?


Myself, Casey and Don Cruised to Marshall car show yesterday evening....lots of nice Cars and Trucks.....fun to attend.....got all the Bugs in East Texas on front end of Elvis.....he looks bad this morning.....

Can we get an email sent out about the show and to see where people would want to meet up to cruise in? I'm not to familiar with the use of our email list. I live right down the road from our usual meet and greet so I'm pretty open to anything. What time is good for everyone?

Has not been updated yet...will try but the primary communication tool should be this forum...so please communicate your preference here.

My preference is meet regular meeting place say 7:30am...leave 7:45am
Arrive little after 8 am at the event.

I agree that this forum should be primary way of communicating. 7:30 sounds good to me at the usual meeting spot.
