Have to pull head. What to do to make it faster??

Well, looks like the head needs pulled off to check a low compression cylinder. Could be a burnt valve or lifter problem. Not sure. It's a 2010 LS3 Edlebrock SC. Nothing done to engine just bolt on's. SC, CAI, full SLP, fuel upgrades, oil pressure upgrades, booster, Catch Can etc.

Heads are coming off. QUESTION: What would you all recommend for any upgrades to make it stronger, faster, run better etc?? Top end.

Engine just hit 20k miles. SC has been on from 12k.

New lifters, dual valve springs, port and polish the heads. Of the three only one will gain you more power, but you would be foolish not to do the other two while your in there. My 2 cents.

Find out what is wrong first. Odds are you lost a ring land, which means bottom end comes out.

I would just have the heads cleaned up, then put back in with ls9 gaskets/arp bolts and call it a day. No reason to put a ton of money into the heads on an eforce car.

I'm gettin me one of these bad boys----https://www.amazon.com/Inspection-Camera-Cable-14-5mm-Waterproof/dp/B00CE3Y00C

+1 on stock rebuild if F/I....unless you are planning on turning up the psi? Then you might as well pull the motor and put in forged pistons and better rods...THAT will pay more dividends than any head mods...IMHO....fix it to last....saves $$$$ unless you got extra then I'll take some lol...peace out...

Scotty D2014, We can have one of our vehicle installers write up a quote! If you give us a call at (313)-561-5500 ext:123 we can get more information on what other work you are looking to do and the install costs.

Here are a couple links to some of our heads and valvetrain options that we supply!

Thanks

MKC Performance in Kansas City is going to pull the head and find out what is going on. I'll let you guys know when I find out. It was throwing misfires everywhere on all cylinders above 4k rpms. Ran good up to that. Running around 10psi with the eforce. 543rwhp and 569 torque.

Unreal is the Winner! Lost ring land. Pistons not in great shape either.
Going to go ahead and let MKC Performance make it stronger, cam it, forged pistons, springs, rods, injectors, zl1 fuel pump, the hole gambit. List goes on.
will get it tuned for 92 octane gas as well. Just to keep it simple on that side.

Sorry to hear that but hey it's an excuse for more power/reliability. Find out how much your going to pay to forge the bottom end. It may be worth it to get a complete short block and maybe up the cubic inches while your at it. Definitely a cam while your at it. I hope you have the fuel upgrades as well :-)
