Just finished my kit, only thing I changed out was the turbo, downpipe and inter cooler size I upgraded it to the 5" one. Easiest turbo install I've done. Only thing make sure everything is wrapped and coated that needs to be.

S485 t4, kind of overkill for most people, only problem I had was closing the hood. I had to trim the inside bracing of the hood. And I stuck with my regular nightfury cam. I should of gone with one but I was halfway threw the build and got lazy to swap it out. Spools pretty quick even with a n/a cam. I know I'm leaving some power on the table but I'll swap it eventually.

I'll try to get some when I get home, and a custom 4" down the k-member. I'm going to route it out the bumper later but for the sake of getting the car running I just dumped it down. I've heard of ppl squeezing a 4" down the side of the motor and all the way back but I just took it to a local muffler shop didn't want to test my luck on fitment

I've heard nothing but horror stories from those kits. Tons of stories on ls1tech and a few others as well. I would look into the Huron speed kit also very affordable and have a good reputation.

I purchased the kit for giggles and I didn't receive half my product. Customer service was 1/10 and took over a week before I finally was able to get ahold of someone. By that time, I had already started routing piping, etc. and the hotside is complete garbage. The pipes were so uneven and welded by 10 year olds... The terrible welding cause reversed overhang inside the piping... facing the cylinder. This would've caused so much back pressure. Luckily, due to not receiving 50% of what I ordered, I sent it back and got my money back before buying Huron Speed- which is BEAUTIFUL product.

Thanks for the nice comments everyone! We have been working on a Twin Turbo kit over the past few months for the 5th gen which is nearly ready to release! I am going to be making a couple changes to the downpipes to make installation an absolute cake-walk and then we will have it ready.
HOWEVER on another note, in the past week we have been getting a lot of inquires on our single kit. I will be setting up a Group Purchase here shortly for the single kit. We will provide amazing pricing on it for the Group Purchase, simply going to need a non-refundable deposit down to get it going, and we will need at least 12 people total to get it done before a deadline we will set-up. If interested in our Single kit, keep posted for this Group Purchase posted here shortly! |
