Pegasus Whipple 10 rib Version 2

We finally had time to finish version 2 of the Whipple version of our 10 rib kit. Even with what many though of as horrible belt wrap (a little over half way), the car shown here made over 800 at the wheels the 6L80 on e85, at 15 psi with no signs of slip. It's a built motor with ported Brodix heads. More power than our first test car. That is with the belt shown that had a full rib missing, so it was only 9 ribs! Next step is more fuel pump, ran out of injector up top or likely would have made 850 or so.

Version 2 is much better belt wrap and moves the idler away from the tensioner. We had it come too close together one time on version 1, I didn't like it, so here we are.

Nice! What's the retail, and what all comes in the kit?

Cant post pricing in this thread. However, the kit comes with HD tensioner, both idler pullies, ps pulley, alt pulley. In addition, what set our kit apart in our opinion, is we include one blower pulley of your choice. Along with that, the water pump pulley is pre-installed on a new GM water pump, which takes the most difficult part of a 10 rib install and eliminates it. The only things we dont include are the balancer (because ATI is still out of stock, so you can source one from a dealer that may have one left or use a IW), and the belt.

Very nice. Looks like my procrastination turned out for the best. Will be in contact soon for the 10 rib whipple set up.

Is 102 mm TB clearance an issue.

Ted.

Sorry for the delay all. And Ted, I did the bracket where it uses a 2.4" idler pulley that should leave room for a 102mm TB.

I have the version 1. How much to change to the version 2? While I have never had any belt slip I plan on going up in boost soon and would like the extra belt wrap

What size is the balancer pulley? I am looking for a 10 rib larger than 7.8". Can it be purchased separately?
