BORLA ATAK ON V6

Hello everyone,

I'm planning to install a new exhaust on my 2014 V6 Camaro RS. I like it to be loud and to become alive. However, I've checked YouTube to checkout some exhaust systems sounds, and this one, The borla ATAK made me thinking about getting it. I checked Borla's website and found that it fits the V8's but can fit mine if I made a 2.75 to 2.25 adopter. My question is, will this exhaust going to fit on my car, I mean the muffler side specially it has two out pipes on each side

Also, any suggestions on any other exhaust systems, air intake too.

Thank you ,,,

i'm assuming your referring to just the axle back? it'll work if you take it to the right shop to do it, just like the video i posted. as far as the entire cat back, you will prob need some fabrication, but i'm not sure. i would doubt that it would be the an easy plug and play. if you go dual tips, you will need a ZL1/NPP diffuser (they both look slightly different) to accommodate that. i think the axleback only comes with 1 tip, so you will need to get your own dual tips ($100) and have them welded on by the muffler shop if you choose to go that way

if you're looking for something loud that would fit for sure thats an axleback, i recommend looking into MRT's stuff. I had the V1 on my 1LT before i sold it

edit: my MRT v1 w/ 4" dual tips

MRT is a very good exhaust. I have the 2.0 and really love the sound of it. I plan on adding the down pipes and X pipe.

I'll properly need to buy the diffuser. Can you guide me to one that cheap and good? I will appropriate it

Thank you so much for your reply, it was helpful,,

I have the axle-back Borla on an otherwise stock system and I track the car regularly on road course and autocross. Last autocross I had at least a dozen people stop by to tell me the car sounds amazing- only one of them knew it was a V6 before I told them.
I plan to switch to a resonated x-pipe and maybe remove the stock resonators at the same time.
Here's the 14/15 version of mine, there's another version for 10-13. The only difference between the early and late versions are how far the tips stick out. My 15 has the early version and the tips don't stick out at all- kind of a stealth thing. Usually the tips stick out enough to see the borla emblems on the tips. I like mine appearing stock. https://www.borla.com/products/camar...rt__11845.html
As for the whole system fitting from a V8- it will, you just need to address the pipe diameter change up front- so you'll need it to be installed by a competent shop.

Here is how the Borla sit on a 15 model. It sticks out about maybe an inch past the rear bumper. Now I went with the full exahaust system . Trust me you will not regret it at all.

Thank you for your review about it. I am planing to buy the Borla Atak which the company says that it's louder than the S-type.

I just bought this part : http://www.gmpartsdirect.co/oem-part...EwNzE1NSZyPTE3

in order to fit the quad tips for the exhaust system. I will get back to you with a review about it.

Thank you ,,

Thank you for this. I figure it out that I need to buy this part

In order to fit the quad tips, they say it will be installed without any problems. If you plan for quad tips, then go with this one.
