yeah looks great and shows lots of gains. I personally just hate the price tag, even with the special pricing. I mean it looks like a quality piece and shows a lot of promise but damn. Its about 400-500 more than a Fast (after the fuel rail spacer kit) and about the same price as a FAST with spacer kit, high hp runners, and a NW 102 TB. 3x the price of a Holley Sniper. 2x of a Holley HI-RAM.

Absolutely not bashing the company or product. I'm sure a lot of R&D went into it and I'm sure the price is justified between the labor, development and materials. Just saying its a little much for me to justify buying it for my car at this point in time.

I'd like to see a head to head against the FAST, seeing as that's the only really viable aftermarket intake for us. It has to justify the extra $500.

as far as fitting under the hood without modifications goes, we have....

-Holley sniper w/ fuel rain kit (~$636 on holleys site)

-Fast 102 w/high hp runners and fuel rail kit (~912 on TSP)

- GPI stock intake with "rod mod" (275 from GPI or 675 using an entirely new manifold)

- RCR modded stock intake (339 to port, remove center post and rod mod)

Rick Crawford did a back to back with a fairly built G8 and it actually performed right along with the FAST.

This is Ryan Stevens car from GPI, runs damn near 9s naturally aspirited. While this isn't the Vararam intake manifold...it sure as hell performs, regardless of how you think it looks.
