Haha it is a bad photoshop job, by the film company. He is like standing on a mountain, and ZL1 must have jets or something cause its just hanging out in space behind him

They used a cosmetically modified 1LS for the movie. Suncoast provided the hood to replicate a new upcoming ZL1 that Chevy had not yet released when this was filmed right here in our backyard. (Abq, NM)

That's why, when you look close enough, you'll notice a different stance and wheel on the car altogether.

Interestingly enough, the car that ends up being crashed in the "Last Stand" scene (no pun intended) was also a 1LS with no motor/trans in it that they pulled using a neat catapault contraption to get it up to speed.

The crashed remains of the car were on ebay for a while at a towing yard in LA.

We are glad to see the movie finally coming out. We had the great opportunity of working direct with the group responsible for building the crash cars. They contacted us to help get the cars to look as close to the ZL1 as possible. We supplied them with the Suncoast hoods, Rear deck spoilers and wheels. We tried to get them to put a Phastek Sticker on the car, but no dice on that.

This looks like a great movie, especially since I saw Johnny Knoxville mentioned in the cast on IMDB. Maybe they are going to slam into a Port O Let with him in it..

Gotta love movies with cars like these and the fact he looks like Dirty Harry with that .44 magnum cannon
