Super charger or Turbo?
Not sure what i want. any suggestions would be great. Looking to do this after the summer over the winter. Problems or things that need to be upgraded with either package. Please let me know. I know the shop in Florida does this, but am looking for some around the NJ area in case i run into problems. Any problems you have seen please list. thanks again for your input.

Check out http://www.eastcoastsupercharging.com/contact-us.html and see if they install any of the V6 S/C kits.

ECS sells and installs the RX system. so does T&T in MD.
If you want the single or twin turbo, then were it and look at the new top mount RX systems as well. First in the world.

RX Performance. no shop has done more FI of the GM DI engines in the country or more R&D on these in general with more products released than any other.
Stop in ay any time to see most any FI solution you could want for these. |

I went with an SC since my car ins an almost daily driver and living in New England there are some nasty stuff being put on the roads in the fall through winter. The SC was much simpler of an install and every thing is mounted high in the engine bay out of harms way. All the turbo installs I have seen for the LLT had a lot of added hardware mounted low and were susceptible to road salt and other chemicals which I have witnessed serious damage. Typically these parts aren't manufactured to endure corrosives used. I try and wash mine if I use it on those dry days in the winter but the chemicals are there.
Just something to think about when deciding on a system, how and where you are going to use your car.

I see Nutbutt's points above and agree. Plus, consider that you can take your car completely back to stock in about a day if you ever have to remove the supercharger system.

Supercharger system is just more simplistic, which means less things to go wrong (in theory). One of the biggest drawbacks IMO about the systems out there are how low the turbos are mounted.
This is my daily and I'm pretty sure I would have had serious issues last month if I had the mid mount turbos. I was driving San Antonio to Houston and I-10 literally started to flood for about 5-10 miles. If I had the turbos I would have been screwed for sure.

  I don't know what turbos everyone are talking about but mine look great still after over a year of owning them. I have driven through high water and snow/slush no issues. Turbos are made from industrial strength metals that can take hot and cold changes well. Also for those that don't know ALL Porsche's that are turbo equipped run low mounted systems from factory with no issues and no covers to protect from elements. But will agree that turbos aren't for everyone. If your not good with cars stick to SC's as they are straight forward.
