If anyone has any changes they'd like to see pointed out in the OP (I already have in the OP that there's no need for the spacer/isolator because of the composite intake manifold), please feel free to post and I can incorporate it in. The goal of the OP is to be as informative as possible.

The stock exhaust flows pretty well all the way out. I have the IPF S/C and haven't changed a thing.

Sure, you can add Solo high flow cats, but I'm skeptical of their long-term durability.

Any axle back exhaust is for sound and to shed weight. No one has shown me any gains other than that.

Just my opinion.

Meissen, nicely done! About time, thanks!

Look at it this way, LFXer's, we already have the power advantage of aftermarket headers, stock!

I agree with your opinion.

Now if we could just get a sticky about the differences between the 2LS and the rest of the V6s...

1LS = manual transmission

2LS = automatic transmission

2LS has a economy rear gear ratio too so it can achieve the 30 mpg Highway EPA rating.

I am aware of the differences--and there are more than just auto vs. manual.

Many others are not, and didn't find out until after their purchase, as Chevy does not make it clear and dealers/salespeople are generally clueless about it.

Our own Wiki here on Camaro5 says virtually nothing about it, which is frustrating to me, as this site should be THE resource for this kind of info, IMO.

True, and there are more differences beyond that as well.

Within reason, the bottom 1.125" of the intake manifold (the lower intake portion to be specific) is made of aluminum, and it still get's darn hot... Regardless of heat soak issues, I believe the spacer would still help increase lower end torque.

Perhaps someone should, I didn't find out what a "turd" it was until I had already bought one because I had to dig pretty deep for the info. I'm pretty determined to make something of it though.
