DSE suspension
If I install the Detroit Speed rear cradle mount solid aluminum bushings, will the noise, harshness and vibration be absolutley annoying ?
My 1LE is only driven on the street, no track time. While I'm at it, will the DSE lowering springs front & rear work with the Bilstein B6 shocks ? Thanks in advance ! |

It depends on how much noise is already present - it will be amplified
Bils B6 with DSE springs should be an excellent combination. (haven't done that myself so, grain of salt) I've run bils with eibach, bils with H&R, and bilstein PSS9 on other cars. They've all been really good.

I have a set of PAFDT bushings and no noise.

Minimal to no extra NVH after adding solid bushings. Dooo iiit!
JusticePete always spoke highly of BMR and DSE springs with B6's, suggesting that this combo is better than many of the lower-priced coilovers.

Slightly more noise, but you really have to be listening for it. For street use, you'll notice more control with 1st/2nd gear hard acceleration as the wheels aren't able to move the cradle around and steer the car from the rear.

I was just shopping for cradle bushings friday. I can see how a step up from the soft factory rubber to a stiff poly bushing could be worth $200, but I just dont see the gain from going from poly to a solid bushing for an additional $400+.
Unless you guys are finding them cheaper somewhere? Then again, I've never tried either... BMR's are in route now.
