Explaining the Camaro 1le

Does anyone else get sick explaining that your car came from the factory that way? I know that we pay attention to cars more than the average person but it just gets old. I don't know maybe I'm just being a bit complainy these days.

Never. Actually like when people notice its not like any others they've seen before. Always get "Man that's the nicest one I've ever seen"

Thank you

I don't mind the attention just the conversation.

Them, "You mean you didn't get the hood, wheels and spoiler wrapped?"
Me, "No GM/Chevy made it that way."
Them," How's the gas mileage?..."
Me,"We don't have to talk about it if you don't want to, I'm sure you have some Facebook notifications to check on"

You know something like that. Maybe this happens more in "The OC"

Lol I get something similar about my transformers edition. They usually ask if I added the stripes or emblems and I say no it's part of the package... Little bit not understandable since very few know there was a special edition. Oh and I think I've seen you around before. Nice ride!

Its track inspired beast by Chevy and loves to pass anything in its way. Including those pony rides.

I like that it gets way more attention than a regular SS but at the same time it does get annoying explaining the hood and how the car is different from the regular SS. I usually say something along the lines of "it came exactly the way it is, it has a track pack for racing" and leave it that. Thats enough to satisfy the average persons curiosity about the car.

I only get frustrated when I have to explain it to the local dealer.

I am always explaining about my car at car shows and I don't mind except one time a couple of guys told me my car wasn't a 1LE ( dumb ass they were)

Whats the benefit of the matte black hood other than aesthetics? I get the purpose of the other things

Reduces glare which can be an issue when tracking or ripping through the twisties.

I get the whole "Why are you making an SS look like a ZL1", then I say it's a 1LE and they reply with "I've never heard of that model...". I just say look it up haha.

This guy came up to my car and pointed at the 1LE enblem on the back. He asked,'what is that?' I responded, 'I don't know, but it sure is fun to drive!'
