Yea I will be waiting till atleast 2011 so I can have an extra BEEFY dp. Or whenever they speak of a TRUE GT-500 competitor ya kno. I know it has been rumors the SS will keep up with a GT-500(Z06's rip on GT-500's) but I want a Camaro from the factory that just kills the Shelby in every aspect! I mean if Ford is making only 3,XXX GT-500's a year, why can't GM just go on ahead and make a limited number of GT-500 killing Z/28's for us to have??? Think about it...until then I'm gettin myself a 05 Mustang GT(don't gun me down please Imma Stang lover too!)and wait on the Top Dog Camaro to be atleast announced/released.

Possibility of no V8 won't be an issue for 5 more years atleast. I'm holding out for a number of reasons.
#1 Truck will be paid off shortly #2 Want 3.73 gears #3 Not all the options will be available immediately #4 I want to see all the colors and options in person and most importantly... #5 Possibility of an anniversary edition, Z/28 or GMMG type Camaro |

My Daddy always told me:
#1. Don't get her pregnant. #2. Don't buy a first year production car, wait until the bugs are worked out. |

Definitely waiting...
I'm satisfied with HP, torque, price, options, and ascetics. I just cannot get over the fake scoop. So, Im waiting until the fake scoop disappears, or becomes functional.
With that said, I might actually end up with a Challenger.

Your right that car wasn't practical. And though the prowler had a 253hp v6 (which is still nothing close to writing home about, especially in a hot rod) it still looked good. I have a lot of respect for this car. Some people believe this car was what sparked the resent retro revolution. So even though I am hardcore chevy, I think we should be thankful Chrysler put this car out. Who knows if we'd have the camaro without it. |

just can't seem to leave

right now it looks like i'll be waiting a model year or two as well. not only did i just graduate college & need to save back up for a good down payment... i'd rather let them fix the bugs than keep bringing mine in on recall. i also want to see if they give the ok on IBM paint for SS models.
that also means STS has time to work on a twin turbo setup!!
