Trade in cammed SS?

Just curious.... will any dealer take a cammed, full bolt on 2SS as a trade in? I am not looking to do this, just curious if you could

Sure they would, but you probably wouldn't like what they'd want to give you for it.

Just my opinion - a Chevy dealer probably would not. But some specialty dealers might. Chevy dealers have responsibilities to GM that specialty dealers don't have. It is certainly worth a phone call though. Ask for the sales manager.

You wouldn't see any of that money back. Private sale is best in this case IMO.

A dealer will take anything if it means selling another vehicle.
They will simply resell the car "as is."

If you traded a cammed SS in you probably just shouldn't tell them it is cammed. Most likely they will resale it and never even know.

Yes the dealer will take your car, they will only give you what the car is worth as if it was bone stock, no more, no less.

Yep like others said surely they will take it, you just won't get your moneys worth. Dealers don't give much more for your car if you have mods.

A Dealer will take most anything on trade in. If the quality is below what they usually have on their lot they have other local used car lots that buy the vehicle from them.

Agreed... I have traded in some really broken down cars in the past and the dealer was happy to take it as it ment a sale for them.

With aftermarket "tuner" cars, it is usually best to put everything back to stock and sell the parts by them selves if possible. I always try and keep all my stock parts just in case.
