Guys, I'm in need a good, reasonably priced powder coater. Need my wheels done, my plasti dip is messing up terribly. Thanks.
Dan, I always had thought that you would do a good job at things like that with your always calm and collected voice. Nice to know I was right!

Be careful with the $50 a wheel people! Lol! My wheels are flaking off for the $50 a wheel! They need to be sandblasted and cleared so it will stay which usually runs a little extra! Someone correct me if I'm wrong!!!!

It's tempting, but I do want it done right. PM me what you got. Yeah, I'm going to make sure its a quality job. I really like my wheels black, and don't really feel like peeling off the plasti dip lol

Alright, I ended up getting a quote. Mike was really backed up so he referred me to another guy.
Question #2....do any of you have (for some odd reason) have a set of rims and tires laying around I could throw on my car for a day or two while I have this done? If not its not a big deal! PS- Well now I found out I'm gonna be looking at $100 more to get my tires unmounted, remounted, and balanced along with new valve stems or something (new seals for the TPMS?) I really didn't think about how much that was going to cost. I got quoted $45/wheel but he said that might go up a little bit depending on if sandblasting takes longer than what he plans. Max anyone has ever paid was $65 a rim. Erg so I'm looking at roughly $300 to get this done....but its so close to the time I need to go back to school i'm not sure if I want to risk it.

The price sounds reasonable to me, if it is done right. Where did Mike send you?

Yes you have to get new valve stems for the TPMS! Roughly $8 apiece at the dealerships! Shouldn't take but a day! Maybe 2! The night before jack your car up, put it on stands, be at the door of a tire shop when they open! Then take the rims straight to him!
That's what I did!
