Anyone with MPD1 spoiler in Houston area?

Does anyone in the Houston area have the MPD1 spoiler installed?

I'm seriously thinking about getting one before Eric's sale ends in a few days but I'd really like to see it in person first.

Thanks.

Nevermind. I just put my order in with Eric@MPD1. Once I get it installed, if anyone wants to see it in person before ordering one, let me know.

Actually Bandit1565 on our local H-Town club site has the MPD spoiler and the Z Force hood. He has a thread about it.

Thanks. Guess there will be 2 of us running around Houston with this one now. I've got to find time to start making it to the club functions again...

We got three cars and another spoiler on the way here in the 505.

Go to any of our SMS Cruise threads and notice the IOM and RY Ligenfelter cars. They both have MPD's on them.

ZZTom also has one. Very nice pieces and come in great shape ready to go.

Dig it.

I'll definitely post pics once I get it installed.

Ivan - Thanks for the info, I'll go take at the threads. Gives me something to do while I wait for mine to show up.

EDIT: Checked out the threads Ivan...nice driving there.

Finally got my new MPD1 spoiler installed (and my car washed)... If anyone in the Houston area wants to see one of these spoilers in person before ordering one, let me know.

I think you need to show up at the h-town club meeting this Saturday and show it off don't you think?

Looks good, but I have one question does it have any way for water to drain underneath it or does it pool up on the trunk?

Believe it or not, the club meeting is already in the plans for this upcoming weekend. May not be able to stick around for dinner but I'm planning on going to the meeting...

As for water, it does drain. I took the advice from Eric@MPD1 and he suggested adding some 3M tape along the front edge of the spoiler to keep a slight gap underneath. The back of the spoiler is propped up by the spacer pads that came with it and go between the trunk lid and the bolt holes in the spoiler. I double checked when I washed the car yesterday and the water drains just fine. Good thing too considering my nice clean car is likely to get rained on this week.

Snow White may have to have an upgrade in this area. Thanks for the photos.
