WE MADE IT...

Well guys we made it to the host hotel for the Camaro5 fest. The trip was a little difficult but we made it in one piece.
We left central NY and got about 9 hours of driving under our belts before we stopped for a hotel. We left the next morning at about 6am and got about 1-1/2 hours down the road and realized we left something at the hotel room turned around and went back, and then we got on the road again.
We were about 1 hour away from the Host hotel in Valdosta Ga when we had a blow out on our trailer luckily we where ok and the truck behind us was able to change lanes in time to avoid the tire and there was no on coming traffic. The trailer didn't have a spare (brad new trailer) but I was able to find a used car tire at shop just a few miles up the road. So tomorrow I will be hunting down a NEW TRAILER tire.
Hope to see everyone there.

Thanks guys, It was still a good time despite the problems. Just getting out of the shop and being away from the machining aspect, is great This will be our first event so I'm really looking forward to it.

Backinblack- YES, we have come up with a SS emblem for the front grill that replaces the factory bowtie It's machined from a sold piece of billet aluminum and fits just like the bowtie did. No bolts, no glue, just pop out the bowtie and pop in the SS. Below the SS it reads 376 It is on my car so come by our booth and check it out. It wont be available for a while however, I want to get some feed back on it and see if people want it for what its going to cost to machine. I will also have to get a GM trademark license for it. But if there is a demand, it will get done

Well the rest of the time there and your trip back ought to be uneventful, sounds like you've burned up all the bad luck.
