Oh and I use Micky Thompson ET Streets for traction, anything less make the car worthless and it looks like you might put down a little more power than me unless thats a happy Dynojet used for that graph.

Im not sure what machine it was dynod on. My builder uses H.S. auto and dyno in omaha for tuning. Word of mouth made me a little leary of The Shop, although i have no personal experience there. I did decide on the et streets for a tire, just havent ordered them yet. Im hoping my large costs are all known now. I wont get em probably until i knowy ECM isnt toast also.

I have used both shops, The Shop Inc has the best reputation in the area. HS in Omaha does not have that great of a reputation. I like TJ the owner but I wouldn't trust anyone in that shop to work on a big dollar build. Chad at the Shop Inc does all the big names in the area, the only downfall is they are extremely busy all the time. I know several people who will never use HS ever again including myself. All the local guys like Beater Bomb, Sketchy Vert, The Blackhawk, C5 Unicorn Vette, and even Cleetus McFarland (when in town) and quite a few others use Chad for a reason. I would do some more asking around. Hit me up in PM and I can add you to some of the local racing / car pages where you can get more opinions.

I will ask my builder for his input i suppose. I trust him. For right now, were not going to alter my tune unless theres something apparent that needs attention. Hes just going to clean up some of the mess from the previous build and the tune, like evap circuit codes, and trans codes for high pump pressures and stuff like that. That stuff shoulda been dealt with originally. I hate unnecessary engine codes all the time.

Good stuff, Jeff that used to own LSX before he moved to Colorado helped me out a bunch with my build. I know they do good work there. I still like TJ and he went out of his way and hosted a charity dyno day for my cousins son who is a make a wish kid.

No word on trans damage or convertor damage yet. Sweatin those bits of info pretty hard. Injectors should be back from FIC in a couple days cleaned and matched. New ECM harness is in. Replumbing all the lines is next. Hope to be able to key on and check the computers in a day or two. Fingers crossed theres no damage there from the melted harness.

Builder text me. Trans is back. Lots of damage. Previous owner must of fibbed about its behavior last time it was driven. Oh well. $1300 later its g2g. Equal or better grade parts are in, and better quality clutches than what it had. Waiting on Circle D for my converter, and reassembly can be finished.

Got my trans tunnel cleaned up and shot a little high temp paint on the metal. Got the return line from the scavenge pump plumbed into the drivers side valve cover like the v2 agp kit. All the fuel lines are done, oil lines done, and electrical is all done but the new boost solenoid. Had a scare trying to to talk to the ecm with hptuners, but turned out to be a canbus issue i guess. All works now. Circle D called today and they shipped my convertor back this morning, so with that being the last piece were waiting on, hopefully next week itll be time to start it for the first time in 2 years.

Its done, and home now. Have a couple things to sort out before it can really be finished but its running and driving and im happy with that. My AEM wideband is messed up, no surprise there, its been a problem since it was installed. Also passenger side precat o2 sensor is behaving oddly so its overfueling alot right now, so thats gonna be replaced as well. No dyno for now i guess, my budget really took a beating. Its ok though, im more than happy with it still.

Its been a couple months but after about 250ish miles my cars coming back apart again. My converter is slipping horribly after
circle D rebuilt it. In first gear at 3k rpm it just starts slipping. It went back to the shop this morning for disassembly. Trans builder is being pretty awesome and offered to go through it again for just the cost of parts. Still out on wether Circle D is going to take care of my converter or not. No retune til after the first of the year i suppose. Took a cold idle video before i dropped it off this morning if anyone was interested. https://youtu.be/35Bif0X9w-M
