2010 Model Ordering Deadline - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

It may have already been posted on here, but does anyone know when the ordering deadline is for the 2010 model year? A salesperson told me it was originally last Friday, but has been extended until this Thursday.

You will be able to order for a while. It might be up to April 2010 roughly. That is around the time when we stop taking orders for regular vehicles.

Car Salesman are usually 100% correct...all the time.....
Some of the smartest people I've ever come in contact with were Car Salesman.

Matter of fact....just the other day the salesman I was talking to told me how he bought Ebay, Yahoo, and Google stock for next to nothing... when nobody had ever heard of them.
He also told me selling cars was just something he liked to do for fun...(he didn't need to work obviously from all those genius stock purchases he did).

Sorry to rant......I have no idea when they stop taking orders for 2010 models....but I think it would be til the fat woman sings!

Yeah, they said that with the present backlog, and 3 to 4 month build time on orders, the Thursday deadline would take them to the end of the present year model. The plant would then shut down for 5 or 6 weeks before reopening in time to have the 2011 models ready for delivery by May 2010.
