+1 for HP Tuners. It's not going to be really cheap, because the tuner will have to use a license to change your gear ratio, regardless of what application he uses (EFI, HPT, SCT, etc)

pretty much. The same issue of the speedo being off happens if you change tires. If you have an aftermarket radio, so use GPS to show you speed, you could use that, and same with the GPS units, some will show your true speed.

Just remember your miles on your odometer will rack up much faster now if you don't fix the speedo.

And if you like to drive fast, your speed limiter will also kick in earlier too.

Always pays to look into these things before you get the work done. 4.11's are a great mod though.

yeah the car pulls all the way from the bottom with the gears...they feel awesome... i have not gotten on it cuz i want to break them in first.......what speed is my speed limiter at?
i also put some super sports H&R springs and a cold air inductions intake..so far the car has responded great to all my mods..
i might just take the plunge and tune my car, and while im at it a cam would be in order..i really dont like the fact my miles would be racking up...thanks for the help.ill put pics up a little later

Just bite the bullet and do the tune (don't forget to get LT headers before a cam though). Your drivetrain warranty is toast with gears anyway (unless they don't figure it out).

No, they wont. Speedo has nothing to do with odometer, in this car.

Well, enlighten us on how an odometer is accurate but speedo is not after a gear ratio change?! What am I missing here?

The odometer is run by the BCM, which receives its signal from the wheel speed sensors, not the transmission (which the speedo does). You can go so far as to unhook your speedo completely, and your vehicle mileage will still increase on the odometer. Tested and proven on my own car, multiple times, while I was figuring out how to wire speedo into a 4L80 swap
