LSA Conversion

Hey all. I took the plunge and ordered the stage 1 LSA conversion kit from ADM. In addition, I also ordered the ZL1 fuel pump, FPCM, and 2.5 pulley. I'm keeping the stock LS3 heads and cam for now. I hope to get this all done in the next month or two installing it myself in my garage. I already have long tubes and a roto fab intake which I'll try to get to work with the new setup before ordering another $400 intake lol. Other than the parts mentioned, are there any recommendations for additional parts? I plan on getting Prosport EVO boost and AFR gauges.

I need some recommendations for tuning in central FL. I was looking at FSP because it's probably the closest reputable shop that I can rent a trailer and haul the car there. Any info or help is appreciated! I'll probably rely on this form for the majority of info I need for this project.

Not sure about who in FL. has tuned the LSA conversion but FSP is well known.

You'll love the kit! You probably can do a remote startup tune to get you going...

I was thinking of that as well. I am currently tuned by Ted Jannetty with my SCT tuner and he advised that he would be able to do a remote tune for the blower setup as well. I just think I would really want to get my car on a dyno and maximise the potential right from the get go. I love my JRE tune right now and have full confidence that he would do great, I'm just crazy lol.

I did both, startup tune and then Dynoed. Startup tune was a safe tune to get everything going and be able to drive it to get it dyno tuned.

It's a great kit and you'll love what it has to offer. Get the 2 piece pulley!

The ADM 2.5 pulley looks like two pieces in the picture. This is my first time working with a supercharger so if that's not what you're talking about then I'm stumped lol.

The way you're configured, isn't the boost going to be well over 10psi with the 2.5" pulley? Are you running pump gas without meth?

2.5 is it. Look into injectors and ADMs FPCM and the ZL1 fuel pump too. If you pulley down from stock, you'll want to consider those...

Boost I believe will be 9 or 10 PSI I would wager..

2.5" blower pulley with stock size LS3 damper =10psi? That's on an LS3 with stock cam?

I have the stock pulley setup (2.85 I believe) make 6 psi, and I'm cammed ( VVT SS1 right at 600 RWHP). It all depends. Conservative est is about 9 or 10. Stock LSA make about 9 to 10 so I do believe the LS3/L99 with a 2.5 (typically adds 3 to 4 PSI on an LSA) will be very close and sure, can be higher. PSI will be the measurements of restrictions to flow so some PSI can be lower due to better flow.

Yes I ordered the 2.5 after hearing that it would be ok. I have the ZL1 pump and FPCM coming with the kit. If I should chose a different pulley size with a stock ls3 cam, what would you all recommend? I'm really dumb and I appreciate the responses.

And what limits have people seen with the stock LSA injectors in an application like this?

Me thinks you're going to be well over 10psi and out of injector...unless you're operating way up in those high altitude Florida mountains...or, unless you're counting on a whole lot of belt slip.

I can always get another pulley. My goal is to have more boost than stock, but without creating weaknesses elsewhere. If 10lbs is too high for the lsa injectors and can order a larger pulley such as a 2.75. If anybody thinks I should stick with the stock pulley size, how much power would I be looking at from a stock ls3?
