The Engine Light is on, and the Remote start stopped working.
GM service center said Warranty is good up to 36,000 miles. Im just at 33,000. Im going to take her in. Any ideas what could be the issue?

I experienced the samething with my Pontiac G8 it turned out to be the gas cap. The place where my wife was buying gas the kid was not tighting the cap he was only putting on snug but not making it click.
OnStar ran a check told me it was the loose cap.

I'm sure though in this case it's not that. I always do my own gas. And here the clicks to close. |

If the check engine comes on it will disable the remote start. I went through this before, after a full day of diagnostics, it was caused by an engine misfire at 12mph, for a duration of 32 seconds. It took them another full day to clear out the error.
