Installed Mild To Wild
I installed the Mild to Wild kit today. Programmed it to the Garage door buttons tested it before putting interior back together and it worked perfectly.
I was in the car and reving at 1500 rpms to hear the difference and it stopped working, fuse was not blown. Anyone else have a similar experience? Python

Yeah, Toasted. It worked for 5 times and went dead. Seller replacing, just hope it doesn't do the same thing. It was awesome for the 5 minutes that it worked. Not sure what the replay inside that thing is rated for. Its just a $10.00 wireless with a fuse holder on it.

Installed my M2W last night, and it works great so-far (very happy with the sound!). Hopefully you don't have any issue with the replacement.

I went through a couple of them also, piece of junk (IMO), just pull the fuse and be done with it, you never have to mess with it again. You will be so much happier and less frustrated. Good luck!

I know folks will argue with me, but everytime I hooked mine up, I got a check engine light. Got rid of it and havent had one since.

I've had mine for almost one year now with absolutely no issues! Love it and also have it programmed into the homelink buttons. It works as advertised. Mild when the family is in the car and wild when you are on your own!

Well thanks for all the replies. Good to see I'm not the only one. Likely more current draw then that relay is rated for. I'll let you know how the next one goes when I get it

I received the replacement unit and reinstalled it. Made sure to test it thoroughly before putting interior back together and it worked. Never thought to check the radio...as long as unit was connected the radio was dead. Clearly these things are not made well and definitely not tested. At this point, fuse stays out. DONE.

I think the best way to do it is have a hard wired switch. Its cheaper than the m2w switch but requires running wire. I think someone on this forum made a post on it.
