Looks like another two weeks or so and I'll put her away for her long winter's nap.

I may live in Houston TX but mine is also hibernating part of the winter down here. It rains forever....

I won't be driving in the snow, but I will still drive it in the winter. I had a 95 Cavalier LS convertible for 10 years before the Camaro. I bought the Cavalier with 41,000 miles and it only had a little over 69,000 miles when I traded it on my Camaro. The Cavalier never went out in snow either.

Mine will be in the garage during the rain and snow. Maybe on nice days I will have it out. Also, depends on what changes I can do over the winter, may stay in my parents garage all winter.

I drove my SS last winter when the roads were dry and it was above 40 degrees. Below 40, watch out with summer tires even on dry roads. My Camaro is just too much fun to leave in the garage for 4-5 months. Also, IMO cars are like people. It does them no good not to be exercised once or twice a week.

I agree with you and most likely will do the same thing but are going to wash the car in 40 degree weather? Thats the part that worries me some. I don't want my car sitting in the garage with dirt on her and I don't think I want to wash her in near freezing weather

I have been known to drag the hose out in 40 degree weather. Or you can use the bucket method if it's too cold.

I used to hook up the hose to the kitchen faucet with some sort of connector, and ran the hose out the window, so I could use warm water, but I don't have that luxury in this house. The faucet is nowhere near the driveway now. LOL

I bet there's a bunch of us here. I also use the bucket method but prefere the self-service car washes- They have hot water. just bring lots of quatrers, your own soap, bucket and towles.

18" Heritage wheels and many trips to the car wash. She's my daily driver.
