Looks like another good night. Tuesday does have better track prep. But we bow time to the Gamblers, as it should be. But no kid racer delays.

Support your local drag strip. Most of them including Atco (the last I heard) are hurting.

Good track prep at Atco on Tuesday nite for the slick cars. And I picked up .1-.2 ET improvement on my stock ZL1 with just a Rotofab. Not so good air. Windshields were misting up.

Nice! I went over the weekend to mason dixon and the best i could scrape up was an 11.40 @ 125MPH Crappy air! My fastest time is with no rotofab and stock GY's!!! I cant really compare them because it was a different track... I need to get some good air at either Cecil or Capitol and see if the mods help any! Got beat by my buddy in his 2015 Hellcat!

You are lucky, in crappy air my A10 ZL1 runs 122-23.

Anyway, trying out my 17" MTs tonite for the first time. I've seen a number of mid 1.7s on the stock rubber with good prep (well, good for Atco).

Will I see a 1.6? Lots of people at the track think I will see 10s with my RF +MTs. I am not one of them. But a high 1.6 60 with an 11.3 ET would be the best I can expect tonight.

-525 DA right now. It probably won't get much better than that later as the humidity will be rising.

It was a bust. I 0nly ran twice and on the first run they messed up the staging lights and I left off idle and ran a 11.460 1.800 60' and on the second run I did not warm the car up enough.

11.564 1.790 60' . Then a huge spill so I left.

Thanks! I agree... I am not sure I will be able to squeeze a 10.XX out of this car with the CAI and DR's! I was faster with everything stock!

I am hoping for a personal best before winter... gonna have to be faster than an 11.37!!

That sucks! That seems to be a common thing this time of the season... the oil downs! Everybody has been ragging on their stuff all season and now is when they seem to fail!

It was a bust.

I still have not beat my stock 1/4 or 60' times.

But the real problem is getting the ZL1 up to operating temps in the cooler weather after sitting. My fastest run was right off the street. 11.454@121.89 1.808 60'. The DA was around +500.

I think the trick is using the Oil Temp Dash gauge. The coolant temp gauge is useless.

Even after shutting off the car It starts cooling off almost immediately. The bar should split the "200" right down the middle. I am not complaining about the good cooling, but you have to work around that at the drag strip.
