Any comparisons to the z28? What about SLP's zl1? Also if this goes through I hope they can live up to the original zl1 meaning, the zl1 was a track car for NHRA and were only 69 made.

I do recall them testing an auto ZL1 car...maybe it'll be made available in the future.

Sorry to all the Z28 fans, but this makes sense. Camaro coupe,Z28,SS,ZL1. Thats sanity maybe it was a last minute name change. Anyhow thats what it's always been when there is no SS the Z28 was the top dog but thats only then. As for the ZL1 the holy grail of camaros is a good choice for that much HP . My guess for price would be 4-5 grand over the Shelby mustang.

Fantastic. The changes make the ZL1 moniker perfect for this car.

I'm already on record saying that the Z-28 should be a newly engineered 5.0L LS and a SCCA quality suspension. I'm thrilled that the product line is staying true to it's roots.

It's cool to see a ZL1 and all, but I'm very happy with my 2010 SS. With a full suspension and supercharger, it will outperform the ZL1. Plus, I like my current interior and front.
