You are seeing them from different angles, I believe they are exactly the same.

I haven't been able to be on forums for a long time ,and this is the first time I've seen the gen 6 car. I love it! This is a very nice progression from the outgoing model. I love to see that there is a real separation between the looks of the SS model over the others. The interior looks great too. I see a lot of styling cues from the new vette which isn't a bad thing. I can't wait to see one in person. It looks much better than the new Mustang and the Challenger needs a complete makeover. I would say GM has no worries with continuing to lead this segment.

I think you need to look at that chart again. The overall 1st gear ratio in the auto (12.63 to 1) is much lower than the overall 1st gear ratio in the manual (9.92 to 1), but the overall top gear ratio in the auto (1.80 to 1) is very close to overall the top gear ratio in the manual (1.86 to 1). The auto should accelerate away from a dead stop much more quickly than the manual, but the top gear cruising rpm and should be similar.

Why do you think they don't? It says that the 20" black wheels are available on the LT and SS. Since the base LT comes with 18" wheels and the LT/RS comes with 20" wheels and there is no SS/RS this time, I'd assume that the LT that they available on is the LT/RS. I haven't heard anything about any carryover wheels and I'd think that if there were, they wouldn't be saying that there are only two carryover parts, the Bowtie and the SS emblem.

Because the RS wheels are not pictured in black. The only black wheels they show are the SS wheels, which are an option for LT, not an option for RS LT.

That does not mean they are not an option with the RS package, it would just cost less for them than without the RS package on the LT.

I remember reading somewhere the system is the same as with the Stingray, so yes, each component can be individually tailored. If I can find where I saw that, I'll post it up.

Hopefully we get more color choices before the convertible, was really hoping for a nice orange.

Will opt for either hyper blue or white otherwise.

+1 I'd love to see the new convertible in the "Unripened Green" used on the 2013 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 concept onvertible, with Kalahari interior and a tan top. If that's not available (and I'm not getting my hopes up), I'd probably go for either the Blue Velvet with blue top or Nightfall Gray with black top, and the same interior. (Is the convertible top still available in tan and blue?)
