Talking Mods are only $50 honey......

So I was sharing a good laugh with one of our venders on the phone today.

I told him I always tell the wifey that the mods I buy only cost $50.....

Anyone else have this "mods only cost $$" households?

Was just talking with my girlfriend that we don't get the couples /husbands/wife's that need to run something like that past the other. Like if it's over a grand I get saying something at least. But if it's your money, what's the big deal. And if the significant other has a problem with it, that's messed up.

UNLESS, you're spending money you don't have.... Then that's a problem.

Been there, having to run stuff past the now expire, what a pain in the ass that was. It's my money, I worked for it and will never do that again, I have many friends that have to ask permission to buy upgrades for their cars or they even hide stuff from their wife, total BS. If you work and are able to take care of your family and cover your expenses you should never have to ask permission

I dont think any of us ask permission but sounds like there's a reason you're single.

It's still my money though. Not like I'm trying to spend her money. Plus she has a.... M..... M..... Mustang. So, she is into modding her car too. She's all about that life yo. Maybe I lucked out with her? I'll keep her around I think. Hell, she helped me with a weekend full of camaro mods and getting stuff installed. She also buys me mods and vice versa. Shit, she rocks.

I don't lie. I just forget to mention most of my mods.

I have a really bad memory.

I have two expensive hobbies cars and guns. Luckily my dad supports both, so we always tell my mom it cost about 30% of what it actually cost.
