BF Goodwrench KDW's
Is anyone currently using BF Goodwrench KDW's or is anyone planning on
getting them once they get their camaro? I am surprised that I have not seen any one using them yet, perhaps there is a reason for this. I for one think they are a great tire as I have them on my 67 camaro and they really perform well and looks wise they are the coolest tire out there. |

I am thinking not hard but thinking of go aftermarket on my wheels just because I can't leave well enough alone, but the RS comes with Pirelli P-Zero's which are a pretty dang good tire. I will go to KDW but not until these wear out.

I think you mean BF GOODRICH Goodwrench is your local GM mechanic.

I run BFG g-Force T/A KDW's on my 94Z. I love mine. they were a tad pricey, but they perform.

I run them on my daily driver and have been through 4 sets and never had any complaints.

BFG makes good tires but I don't like the the look of the GForce tread.I seems better on an SUV. jmo

BFG KDW are great every day tires and are relatively reasonable. the Potenza RE050A Pole Position tires, however, are seriously better and more $$

I have a set of these on my RX8; never again. They were fine at first but as they wear they get louder and louder. They do perform well though; dry or wet they stick really well. I'm going with Falken 452's for my custom rims. You can get them for under $200 each and they are on a par with the Pirelli's which are almost twice the price.

I am certainly 100% buying these for my Camaro when it comes in.
I am deciding one whether I want to run normal KDWs front and back.. OR run the drag radial version in the back, with a normal KDW up front? G-FORCEs ARE THE SICKEST TIRE ALIVVVEEEEEEEE EVERYYYOONNNEEE GETTT THEEEMMMMMM |

not completely. running the street/slicks all the time is asking for trouble, but people have been running dual tire types for years. hell, I run a pair of donuts on the front with near bald tires and slick on the back at the track. and drive that way to it. I do change them back to my street wheels after racing however.

Here is a link to C&D tire test they just did....you might want to check this out to aide in your decision making process...I'm not seeing alot of these tires in a 20" though, so you might have to downsize.

It is an interesting read. there are actually 2 articles here. I have used BFG KD's and really like them for aggressve street play. But their wet performance is poor. Their article shows this.
I also wonder, however, if the performances are influenced equally across different platforms. mike dms |
