True Forged Carbon ZL1 Emblem
With a sprinkle of AutoCAD and a dash of 3d printer I made a true forged carbon emblem for the daily. Compression mold. Will cut out the inlay for the 1 and install when clear cures.
Just wanted a challenge and do something different, took a year and many different methods to keep the sharp corners.

Cleared yesterday, just need to polish and install. I hope to get it on before heading out to SEMA, will post pics when I do.
Made the forged carbon heel guards for the busa when figuring out the work flow for making things. The kanji was removed shortly after in lieu of some emblems I drew and had resin printed. Tire changes are wheel color changes, they're due to be changed to a subtle color before spring.
