She already wants a Viper or Porsche Cayenne, but hopefully I can draw her into my Camaro addiction if I let her run a few of the camaros.

N/A class was fun last year until I ran a cammed car with my headers/tune car lol.
Now I have a cam/stall, this should be fun. |

I'm telling you, all it took was one time down the track and a monster was created. She went from "well, I don't know, maybe just once". Till all winter hearing "when is the track open, when is the track open" and "I want to race xxx and xxx and xxx and xxx and xxx and do you think I can beat xxxx". OMG, speed demon created and I can't stop it!
But I tell you want, that permagrin was as heart warming as could be. She 'got it' and was just so thrilled to run 117 mph. Even her first time down the track, I was expecting her to just go 'fast' and get the hang of it....nope, green light and she hammer the f*ck out of and was gone. I stood there picking my teeth up. This little, timid girl turns into a monster when you put a helmet on her. Geesh. |

I hate to say it but I agree. Paying $100 seems like a waste if I'm going to have to line up against v8s every race

Don't forget bracket racing folks. If your car doesn't fit nicely in a class you are comfortable with, braket racing is the Great Equalizer.

Ah, come on, go for it! I have had a blast surprising & beating a number of SS's heads up. Even beat a ZL1 at LS Fest last year in bracket racing & have beaten a supercharged SS too. I even have a blast when I get blown off the track. Who knows, you may be the next one to earn the SSlayer nick name! I have to admit, last year after having mixed feelings about lining up against the V8's I was a bit dissappointed when there was only one person in V6 class & they put all us V6'ers (all 4 of us) in V6 class regardless of mods. I had been rather looking forward to taking a couple more V8's for my got 'cha list. Go down there & represent for us V6ers.
